92 men from Atlanta, Georgia
Our last project of the year was in October with 92 men from Marietta, Georgia. On this trip we built 7 small houses, visited a
youth detention center, had several feeding programs, did evangelism, prayed for people and on the last day (Saturday) had a big old
Festival for the kids and the families of the colonia. 13 people accepted Jesus as Saviour of their life.

Cesar
These last few weeks I have been spending time doing paper work, visiting pastors to find out how things went during the year
and getting ready for our visit to California. At church I have been co-teaching to the Junior HS and the HS Sunday School classes.
Jennifer
Ok, it’s time to celebrate!!! The New Testament Vacation Bible School Curriculum is finished. 12 weeks of lessons in English and 12 in Spanish.
These will be used in many countries to help the groups share Jesus with the children. Praise God!!! A new adventure that we will be taking
is homeschooling. In January we will join the other AIM moms who have also made this choice. Hannah will be staying at her school, but we will
start with Katie. Katie’s school just didn’t work out for us and we have prayed and feel this is God’s choice for us at this time. Please pray
for me as this is a big change for me. I’m not a big fan of change, but when God moves, who are we to get in the way?
Katie
Katie is very excited about homeschooling. She is an excellent student and is looking forward to getting her work finished and trying new things.
She will be working with us more on AIM projects, learning more about home-related things, and maybe even volunteering at the local animal shelter.
Hannah
Hannah has just “adopted” a new kitten that came to us from the alley. She doesn’t have a name yet, but Hannah thinks she’ll call her Princess.
She has had quite an interesting month at the Doctor’s. She has had Strep Throat, a cold, a fall from the monkey bars requiring two x-rays and
an MRI. Also, a few days ago she fell from the top of our tree. Praise God she bounces well.
California
We will be flying to California December 24. We will be there for 3 weeks. We are making plans to have
several home meetings so that we can visit with many of you and so we can tell you about our year in Mexico.
The dates, home locations and details will follow in another e-mail this month.
Testimony from an AIM participants
Hi Cesar and Jennifer!
I just wanted to let you guys know that I finally made it down to Mississippi to do some disaster relief missions work.
I appreciated your help and prayers ... I had talked to you a few months ago right after Hurricane Katrina hit because
our singles' group was collecting a tractor-trailer full of supplies to send down and we didn't know who might need it most.
I talked to Elizabeth and she said her town was doing okay, so we sent it further south, all the way to Biloxi, to Bay Vista
Baptist Church, right there about a 1/2 mile off the Gulf Coast. They had turned their facilities ito a huge supply
distribution center and they really needed it. Then, over Thanksgiving week, my whole family had a chance to go down there
with First Baptist Woodstock with a team of 200 people, and we gave out about 15,000 free frozen turkeys to the people down
there, did some relief wor! k, and shared the Gospel. My mom led the prayer team and we used the ATL technique you taught
us in Mexico this summer! There were about 400 salvations, and my family personally led over 30 of those! I led 3! It
was very exciting yet very humbling and heartbreaking all at the same time. Biloxi was hit harder than New Orleans but
didn't make as much news. They had an 30+ foot storm surge, and there was nothing left of the first two blocks of beachfront
homes, hotels and restaurants, and all of the floating casinos were laying on the shore on top of the rubble. God certainly
used those devastating circumstances to soften the peoples' hearts and draw them to Him, and that's why the harvest was still
ripe there, even three months after the storm. It was a great trip, and I'm looking forward to possibly going again with a
friend in January. I really think short-term missions is in my blood now. I'm even considering contact! ing AIM to see if
I can be on summer staff somewhere this upcoming year ... so who knows, I might end up in Matamoros! Please keep in touch
and let me know if there's anything I can be praying for you guys about. Untilthen, may God bless you and your family and keep you all safe.
In Christ,
Cindi Herr
From Cesar, Jennifer, Katie, and Hannah Gonzalez we want to wish you a Merry Christmas
